Second Remix from Debut Album 'Energetic Mind'
‘Dreamy Dreams’ (EHCO Remix) is the second re-work to be released from ‘Energetic Mind’ – the debut Bonniesongs record which was released in September by Small Pond. The original version of ‘Dreamy Dreams’ found its way onto two official Spotify playlists; Lost in the Woods & Low Key Weekender, whilst the album was hailed by the likes of The Line of Best Fit, Paste Magazine and Nialler 9 for its diversity.
The song resonated quickly with Irish producer EHCO (Eoin Whitfield), who adopted a minimalist approach to create her remix: “The vocals, strings and guitar were so beautiful to work with and manipulate, as soon as I started soloing tracks ideas began presenting themselves. The only sounds I added in were the bass and drums, everything else is from the original tracks”. This process has created a uniquely organic sounding remix, as recorded instruments intertwine with synthetic bass and sampled drums.
The track will feature on the ‘Energetic Mind: Remixes’ EP, due for release in early 2020.
